Porter Position at The Bird Streets Club

The Bird Streets Club, Los Angeles' newest and most exclusive venue, promises a most discerningly private members enclave. Nested in the west end of historic Sunset Boulevard, it is managed by the iconic h.wood Group, offering glamorous dining, exquisite service, and memorable experiences.

Opening this fall, Lady Delilah is looking for a talented Porter. A porter plays an important role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and restaurant. The ideal candidate possesses a guest first attitude, strong commitment to service, and excellent communication skills. We ask for a willingness to receive and offer direction, be solutions oriented and encourage a hospitality driven environment. Open availability is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area in the restaurant
• Receive, unpack, and store all restaurant deliveries
• Support inventory management by organizing the food storage accurately
• Restock all kitchen and restaurant equipment in venue
• Assist the venue team as needed
• Other maintenance tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be 18+ years of age
• Must be available at weekends and nights
• Must have excellent time management skills
• Must be able to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting plates, boxes, and objects up to 30lbs
• Must be able to work in hot/cold, and/or wet areas
