Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Level 1 experience desired, plus 3 years recent experience in the operating room. License: Compact or state license required at time of submission. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: - 3 years recent experience in the operating room. - Experience in Total Joints, Orthopedic Spine, Gynecology, and Minimally Invasive Surgery required. - Candidates must float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. - Previous charge experience preferred. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the operating room. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years recent experience in various specialty areas. They will be expected to work in Total Joints, Orthopedic Spine, Gynecology, and Minimally Invasive Surgery. On-call commitments include evenings and weekends, with a 40-minute response time. Candidates will have 2-3 on-call shifts during the first 6-week schedule and a weekend on-call in the subsequent period. No local travelers within a 100-mile radius will be accepted for this position. All candidates must comply with COVID-19 and flu vaccine requirements. Rehire eligibility will be assessed prior to employment. Candidates must disclose any previous employment at this facility during submission.
