Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive physical examinations and in-depth reviews of medical histories
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical issues by effectively interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide crucial intraoperative assistance, which includes preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and efficiently passing surgical instruments
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference for candidates who have completed clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification required
• BLS and ACLS certifications essential
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
