Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a CVOR position at a hospital in Denton, TX, requiring cardiovascular OR circulating experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Located in the OR department (1st floor, main hospital building) of an acute care hospital in Denton, TX
• CVOR unit with 13 OR beds and a staff of 62
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• On-call required 2 nights per week and 1 weekend per month
• No floating requirement
• Procedures performed include CABG and other cardiovascular surgeries
• EMR: Meditech

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
• Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR RN experience
• Ability to circulate hearts is a hard requirement — candidates without this skill will not be considered
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration — no exceptions; Canadian SSNs are not accepted
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• One professional reference required (two required for candidates from Florida or Missouri)

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates will not be considered, no exceptions
• Experience circulating hearts is both required and the top preferred skill for this role
