Allied Technician - Physical Therapist

Physical TherapistWe are currently seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our dynamic therapy team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy, with at least 2 years of experience and must be licensed in the state of practice.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide quality patient care within a variety of settings, including outpatient and inpatient therapies.Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to patients' needs.Manage caseload effectively, treating up to 9 patients per day in outpatient settings and up to 13 patients in inpatient settings.Collaborate with occupational therapists and speech therapists to provide comprehensive patient care.Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically Cerner Powerchart.Engage in continuous learning and professional development.QualificationsCurrent Physical Therapist license in the applicable state.BLS Certification is required.A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting; travel experience is preferred.Experience in trauma care and inpatient clinical settings is beneficial.Familiarity with common diagnoses such as orthopedic, postoperative, neurological, and cardiorespiratory conditions.Ability to utilize swallow studies in therapy is preferred for candidates specializing in speech therapy.Work ScheduleShift length is 8 hours, primarily during daytime hours, with a schedule of Sunday through Thursday.Weekend requirements may vary based on departmental needs.Eligible for a specified number of holidays per year.Additional InformationUniform: Maroon polo shirt, dark-colored pants, and closed-toe shoes are required; lab coat is optional.Orientation consists of 1.5 days specific to job and unit training.Assistance will be provided by rehab aides, occupational therapy assistants, or physical therapy assistants as needed.Join our team and make a difference in the lives of our patients by providing exceptional care and support.
