Entry Level Manufacturing Associate (Downstream)

We are supporting a commercial-stage biologics manufacturer in New Jersey that has recently transitioned from R&D into full-scale GMP production following multiple FDA approvals. As part of ongoing expansion, they are hiring Downstream Manufacturing Associates to support large-scale biologics manufacturing operations. This is an entry-level opportunity, however candidates must have prior hands-on exposure to downstream processing , even at internship or placement level. Key Responsibilities Execute downstream manufacturing processes including chromatography, UF/DF and filtration Operate and clean manufacturing equipment (e.g. ÄKTA systems, filtration skids) Prepare buffers and solutions in accordance with GMP procedures Complete batch records and maintain accurate documentation Work cross-functionally with QA, QC and Manufacturing teams Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related field Hands-on downstream processing experience (internship, placement or industry) Basic understanding of purification processes (chromatography, filtration) Familiarity with GMP environments preferred Willingness to work on-site in New Jersey Nice to Have Exposure to TFF / UFDF Experience with ÄKTA chromatography systems Previous work in a GMP manufacturing setting Why Apply Opportunity to enter commercial biologics manufacturing (not lab-only work) Clear progression opportunities as the site continues to grow Stable, expanding organisation with multiple approved products #J-18808-Ljbffr Global Life Science Hub
