Description: General information about the unit: The Emergency Department consists of multiple beds including observation and trauma care. Staffing varies based on the number of mid shifts throughout the day. The typical patient-to-nurse ratio is 4:1 and can extend to 6:1 during peak times. Standard equipment includes monitors, pumps, EKG machines, rapid infusers, and ultrasound. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech 5.6. Ideal candidates will exhibit strong teamwork skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Preferred candidates will have experience in ENPC and TNCC. Weekends are required every other week, with no on-call shifts.
