Personal Care Aide - Caregiver - Part-Time 1st Shift Sherwood Lodge Assisted Living Wages starting at $17/hr Summary of position Under the supervision of the assigned LPN/LVN or RN, the Unit Supervisor provides activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of residents/patients as assigned. Assists in providing a positive physical, social, and psychological environment. Follows all Center policies and procedures. Requirements of the position High School Diploma or equivalent Computer proficiency with Microsoft products Experience in a fast‑paced environment (preferred) Post-acute care or health care experience (preferred) Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff. Possess special interest in, and a positive attitude about, working with long-term care residents and the elderly. Meets all health requirements, as required by law.
