Full-time status + Benefits start at only 30 hours per week Competitive Compensation Package + Bonus Plan CME Allowance + Paid Time Off Fully covered malpractice including tail coverage Competitive benefits including Medical, Dental and Vision insurance Matching 401K plan Career Growth opportunities What Will You Do Plan, evaluate, and implement high-quality medical care with appropriate resource management for adult and pediatric patients in cooperation with center physicians Deliver the highest standard of patient satisfaction by adhering to Piedmont Urgent Care service and courtesy standards Provide patient care within the respective clinical area in accordance with the Professional Staff Bylaws, rules and regulations and Piedmont Urgent Care policies and procedures Serve as a resource for patients, families, and staff Authenticate reports of services rendered and maintain accurate and complete records Complete necessary documentation and ensure communication to facilitate patient care and appropriate reimbursement Participate in meetings and activities to support urgent care operations Engage in professional development and maintain certification in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS, and any additional required specialty training/certifications Report to the Regional Vice President of Clinical Operations and/or Area Clinical Operations Director (ACOD) Minimum Qualifications Current and valid license to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in accordance with the state of Georgia Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program Current DEA registration Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses Experience with reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs BLS certification (we will provide this if needed) Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing set forth by WellStreet Urgent Care Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine preferred Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other employees Personal Characteristics Outstanding bedside manner with children and adults Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other employees Positive, energetic attitude that inspires other team members Sense of service and team orientation without hubris Desire to contribute to building and maintaining a great organization Additional Qualities Willingness to go the extra mile to create an outstanding experience for customers and to train and lead the center team Desire to work in concert with others in an upbeat and supportive atmosphere while reinforcing the organization\'s mission to provide uncompromising service Compelling desire to serve others, improve community health, and have fun every day #J-18808-Ljbffr Piedmont Urgent Care Occupational Medicine
