Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in a hospital setting License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC required Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years emergency department experience - Active certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC) - Strong communication skills with patients and peers - Strong assessment and critical thinking skills - Dependability and punctuality - Strong understanding of medical terminology Description: The emergency department provides a fast-paced and dynamic environment. We ensure high-quality patient care for those with multiple comorbidities. The patient population includes individuals with complicated heart conditions, DKA, Sepsis, Trauma, and Stroke. There are 25 procedure rooms and hallway beds utilized 24/7. Staffing consists of a mix of RNs, ED Techs, and support personnel. Patient ratios typically are 4:1, with flexibility during acute surge times. Candidates must demonstrate adaptability in various situations. Experience with trauma, stroke care, laceration repair, and orthopedic trauma is beneficial. A motivated work ethic and a desire to help and care for patients are essential.
