Title
Registered Nurse - Peri-Anesthesia

Schedule
10-hour shift length, varied start time, includes weekend coverage.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements
- Current licensure with the state Board of Registered Nursing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- Certified Peri-Anesthesia nurse (CPAN) and/or Certified Ambulatory Peri-Anesthesia (CAPA) is desired
- Successful completion of prior travel assignments

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for surgery patients, including the occasional pre-operative care of gastrointestinal patients.
- Monitor patients' recovery and response to anesthesia.
- Administer medications and manage patient pain levels as per the care plan.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records according to facility protocols.

Compliance / Notes
Scrubs will be provided. Agency staff must be W-2 employees of their respective agency.
