VCA County West Animal Hospital is looking to add a  Certified Veterinary Technician to our leadership team as a  Technician Supervisor.

You will work alongside our Medical Director and Hospital Manager to provide mentorship, ensure the hospital runs efficiently, and foster a winning environment. You will have the opportunity to build your leadership skills and have a clear career path.

In addition to all Veterinary Technician responsibilities, duties will include, but are not limited to:

  Implementing department policies and procedures. 

\n

\n \n

\n

\n
• \n

  Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings. 

\n

\n \n

\n

\n
• \n

  Accurately handling and recording controlled drugs. 

\n

\n \n

\n

\n
• \n

  Interviewing, training and mentoring new and existing staff. 

\n

\n \n

\n

\n
• \n

  Delivering employee performance feedback. 

\n

\n \n

\n

\n
• \n

  Monitoring day-to-day activities and engaging with support staff.

\n

\n \n

\n \n

\n

Schedule: Full-time opportunity, 4 x 10-hour shifts with rotating Saturdays.

\n

\n

Compensation: Pay range is $23 - 26/hr and negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials.

\n
