About the Job:
Schilling is seeking a Line Cook in a creative, chef-driven environment for their Mill Street Grill & Pizza kitchen.  The ideal candidate has a positive and team-oriented attitude, cares about the quality of their work, and is willing to work quickly and with accuracy. Previous line experience preferred, but willingness to learn matters most. Must have reliable transportation to/from work.

Expectations & Duties:

• Fast-paced and dynamic work environment, executing prep and service with speed, accuracy, and consistency.
• Follow recipes, SOPs, portioning, and plating standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
• Follow food service guidelines and comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaboration with the team and management ensure smooth operations during service.
• Work on the line executing fast & efficient ticket flow producing Schilling Signature Dishes and Wood-Fired Pizzas.
• Assist with daily prep, stocking, cleaning, and closing duties.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this role possesses:

• A positive, upbeat attitude and a friendly demeanor, including during fast-paced service.
• Willingness to support in various ways beyond the kitchen when/if needed (organizing, cleaning, clearing tables, restocking glassware and dishes, etc.).
• Strong initiative - i.e. going above and beyond without being asked - a passion for details, and delivering exceptional results.
• Multi-tasking capabilities suitable for a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to lift approximately 50-60 lbs.
• Open and flexible availability to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends/holidays.
• The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time.

Pay: Hourly rate of pay depending on experience and work ethic, plus sales-based gratuities with advancement after 3 months for hard-working and dependable employees.
