Mill Machinist

Growth Opportunities! This company located in Santa Anna, CA, has been in the business for over 40 years supporting aerospace, medical, and other industries across the country. With about 35 machines and 80 employees, the company is rapidly growing. In this position, the CNC Mill Machinist will work on setup and operation of 3-5 axis mills. Running multiple machines, these will be complex, one-off parts as well as some production runs. Role offers a 4x10 schedule M‑Th with optional overtime. Shift will depend on skill level: opening on 1st shift for candidates with strong 5‑axis setup experience and 2nd shift for candidates with strong 3‑axis setup experience. Benefits Include PTO Insurance plans Profit sharing & 401k Positive company culture including regular lunches Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills for short run, complex parts Edit programs at the machine on occasion Perform inspections to ensure conformance of specifications Interpret blueprints for specifications such as dimensions, tolerance & instructions Select and secure holding fixtures, tools, etc Qualifications Previous experience in setting up and operating CNC mill machines G & M Code experience Knowledge of safety protocols and shop procedures Effective communication and teamwork skills AMC is an Equal Opportunity employer.
