About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to provide senior executive leadership and ensure the organization's day-to-day operations are in line with strategic objectives. The successful candidate will be decisive, disciplined, and execution-oriented, with a strong focus on process and systems. Key responsibilities for the COO include operational leadership to drive efficiency and productivity, financial and accounting oversight to ensure accuracy and transparency, and asset management to optimize the performance of the real estate portfolio. The role also involves people and organizational leadership, with a focus on mentoring, developing, and inspiring teams, as well as process, systems, and governance to ensure compliance and best practices. Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a minimum of 20 years' of relevant experience, preferably in commercial real estate ownership and operations. A broad background in real estate operations, accounting/finance, asset management, and organizational leadership is essential, as is a strong working knowledge of Yardi. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in property acquisitions and dispositions, be adept at identifying and leading operational improvements, and have a deep understanding of organizational functions at all levels. Strong leadership presence and the ability to guide and elevate team performance are also key qualifications for this role.
