Bayside Chevy/Toyota in Prince Frederick, MD is growing, and we have an immediate opening for a Lot Attendant / Detailer. If you take pride in making a vehicle look its best, we have a place for you on our team.

Essential Functions
• Wash, polish, and wax vehicles to dealership standards.
• Buff vehicle finishes as needed.
• Check and inspect new vehicles immediately upon arrival for any damage.
• Move vehicles and arrange the display lot.
• Photograph vehicles for online listings.
• Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the detail bay, equipment, and supplies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Previous automotive detailing experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of wash, polish, buff, and wax procedures and products.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• A selfmotivated individual with strong attention to detail.
• A resultsoriented individual who enjoys working in a fastpaced environment.
• A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills.
Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee works in an automotive dealership environment and may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, oils and solvents, fumes or airborne particles, varying temperatures, and wet or humid conditions. The noise level in the shop areas is usually loud.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee will frequently be required to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position. Work hours and days must be flexible and will include evening hours and weekends.

This position is located in Prince Frederick, MD.
