Project Manager - Water Wastewater Engineer Location: Durham, NC Job Id: 2816 This position requires strong understanding of water and wastewater infrastructure and process design, preferably with municipal systems. The candidate will manage both public and private projects, focusing on local municipal and quasi‑governmental clients (e.g., water/sewer authorities). Experience with Civil3D, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, Microsoft Office, and ideally InfoWorksWS and/or Innovyze’s InfoWater modeling software is required. A bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and a registered P.E. license are mandatory. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Master’s in one of those disciplines. Registered Professional Engineer license required. Experience: 7+ years in the design of municipal water/wastewater projects. Skills Ability to analyze, coordinate and manage several large or complex projects simultaneously. Manage and develop project staff while supporting and evaluating individual performance. Complete projects successfully, on‑time and on‑budget under broad objectives and limits. Advanced knowledge of project tracking software (Vision/Microsoft Project). Intermediate knowledge of Word/Excel. Strong organizational, time‑management, communication, and leadership skills.
