Job Title: Assembler II - Framing FLSA Status: Hourly / Non-Exempt Department: Operations Supervisor: Production Supervisor Shift: 1st Responsibilities Read blueprints, text, or schematic drawings to determine location, size, capacity and type of components such as tubing or piping needed to build equipment Read and comprehend a job order and bill of materials Assemble and mount electrical wiring circuits, coils, controls, and recording devices as required Fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts using drill, screwdriver and other required tools Identify power and hand tools used on the assigned product line Perform assembly-type functions using hand or power tools Utilize information on material gauging and dimensioning Read rulers, tape measures, metal squares, and other measuring instruments Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or fasteners Identify maintenance needs on equipment and tooling Work at different workstations as production needs require Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area Use proper safety equipment and apparel for each operation on the product line or work cell Perform other duties as assigned To be a Great Fit Team-oriented; values collaboration and operates as a team player Effectively collaborates, engages others, and problem-solves hands-on Fast learner able to quickly come up to speed on business processes Passion for getting things right with a can-do attitude Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend blueprints and schematic drawings Demonstrated proficiency with handheld tools and other measuring devices Demonstrated proficiency with written and verbal communication and/or instruction Physical Demands Occasionally — Sitting, climbing/balancing, stooping/twisting, kneeling, squatting, crawling and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs alone, up to 100 lbs assisted Frequently — Standing, walking, pushing/pulling, reaching, gripping, pinching, neck rotation/extension and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs Constantly — Foot use, visual acuity (near/far) and lifting/carrying up to 10 lbs *Occasionally, Frequently, and Continuously definitions: Occasionally occurs up to 1/3 of the time; Frequently occurs 1/3 to 2/3 of the time; Constantly occurs 2/3 or more of the time.
