Sales Associate

Part-time HUB branch Sales Associate - 11 hours per week (set schedule)

University Book Store is looking for a fun, upbeat person to work at our store in the Husky Union Building on the UW campus! This is an ongoing, year-round position that we are looking to fill immediately.
UW students, please note that we are not an on-campus or work study employer.

As a Book Store Sales Associate, your typical day could include the following:

• Greet and engage customers
• Process sales and return transactions
• Assist customers in finding the merchandise they need
• Set up, maintain, restock sales floor inventory
• Pull merchandise for e-commerce orders
• Keep the sales floor clean and tidy
• Opening and closing duties
• Perform other duties as needed

Hours - 11 hours per week:
Monday: 12PM - 4PM
Thursday: 8:45AM - 4PM

Wage & Benefits


The wage for this position is $21.75/hour , and benefits include: generous merchandise discount (no discount on course materials); half-priced monthly ORCA pass; holiday pay, 401k Retirement participation, and sick pay.
