An Automobile Mechanic plays a critical role in maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure their safety and optimal performance. This position involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing repairs, and conducting routine maintenance tasks to keep automobiles running efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle diagnostics to identify mechanical issues
- Conduct engine repairs and maintain engine components
- Repair and maintain brake systems for safety compliance
- Diagnose and repair transmission problems
- Carry out regular oil changes and fluid checks
- Inspect and repair electrical systems in vehicles
- Perform safety inspections to ensure vehicle compliance
- Replace worn or damaged parts as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in automobile repair
