Position Summary The Staffing Scheduler/Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and maintaining nursing schedules to ensure the facility is appropriately staffed at all times. This role works closely with department leaders to fill open shifts, reduce overtime and agency usage, and ensure compliance with staffing requirements. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain daily and weekly staffing schedules Fill open shifts by communicating with employees via phone, text, and email Monitor call-offs, overtime, and staffing levels Coordinate with nursing leadership to meet census and staffing needs Utilize scheduling software such as OnShift Track attendance and scheduling trends Assist with labor management and budget controlMaintain accurate staffing records and reports Support efforts to reduce agency utilization Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous scheduling or staffing experience preferred Healthcare or long-term care experience strongly preferred Experience with OnShift or similar scheduling software preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) with employer participation Same-day pay options Supportive leadership team Career growth opportunities Apply Today!
