Technical Support Specialist

Our client, an innovative leader in the automotive industry, is seeking a dedicated Technical Support Specialist to join their dynamic team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be part of the Customer Support Department supporting the inter-departmental support area within a call center environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Pay Range: $18.26

Shift: Training schedule will be for one month between 9:00am -6:00pm Mon-Fri. Production schedule will be 9:00am - 6:00pm Tue- Sat after training.

What's the Job?

Respond to service requests, incidents, and reported issues within the set SLAs to ensure prompt resolution
Field incoming requests made to the service desk via phone, email, and ticketing system, maintaining courteous and efficient communication
Resolve routine technical problems and escalate complex issues to higher support tiers
Work independently to troubleshoot and resolve incidents, escalating complaints to upper management when necessary
Collaborate with team members to foster a friendly, helpful environment and contribute to continuous improvement

What's Needed?

2-4 years of experience working in a call center environment
Excellent computer proficiency and familiarity with troubleshooting tools
Ability to explain technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical customers
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills related to technical issues
Self-motivated, disciplined work ethic with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
