Overview Kolb Electric, Inc. is looking for a qualified and experienced ESTIMATOR for Design Build Service Level Projects to join our dynamic team for our Washington DC Servicing Location. The ideal candidate will have a background in lead electrician, field electrical work. Estimators will be able to visit residential, commercial and property management customers requesting solution driven contract pricing. This estimator will be able to evaluate the customer's needs, formulate the required scope of work, detail a material list and labor hours required for any service level project. Customer communication, vendor relationships and staff leadership is essential for this position. Excel and Microsoft Office is a plus. Responsibilities Visit residential, commercial and property management customers to determine solution-driven contract pricing. Evaluate customer needs and formulate the required scope of work. Detail a material list and labor hours required for service level projects. Maintain customer communication, vendor relationships and staff leadership. Work with Excel and Microsoft Office tools as needed. Qualifications Minimum of 10 years of Lead Electrician or Estimator experience Professional license Preferred (we will assist you in acquiring) Background and drug screen required Positive attitude Professional appearance Electrical experience, including working with schematics Purchase Order and Vendor Interaction Familiarity with low voltage systems and NEC regulations Competency in electrical duties Basic code compliant wiring Circuits and lighting Site & LED lighting Cooperative Interaction with Fellow Employees Ability to keep a neat personal appearance and a neat vehicle Leadership by Action Electrical Troubleshooting Ability to read prints or schematics Perform work safely and conscientiously Maintain accurate and detailed records Benefits Base Salary + Profit Sharing $2,500.00 Sign-on Bonus Take Home Company Vehicle 401(k) & 401(k) matching Health, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance 2 Weeks Paid Time Off Accrual to Start Referral program #J-18808-Ljbffr Kolb Electric
