Field Technical Engineer / Application Specialist (w/m/d) Electrophysiology

in the field service, home-office based

In the role of Field Technical Engineer / Application Specialist (w/m/d) Electrophysiology, you will take care of customers in medical/clinical service in close coordination with the regional team and sales management.

Responsibilities:

• Medical and technical support of the electrophysiology product portfolio with a focus on 3D-mapping, catheters, sheaths, etc. for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias
• Conducting product training in hospitals as well as consulting, accompanying and supporting indication, patient and product selection during the procedure on site
• Responsible for increasing the use of Abbott products during a procedure
• Presentation of new Abbott products and demonstration of associated application possibilities
• Initiation of customer training and training sessions to promote the optimal use of the EnSite system with customers or in the corresponding training centers in consultation with the training department
• Initiation of studies together with customers and in coordination with the study department
• Performing troubleshooting on the system, possibly with support from the technician or support from corresponding specialists within the company. Hospital internal processes are taken into account by the employee
• The employee accompanies marketing campaigns and product trials as per the marketing department

Requirements:

• Training in a scientific, medical or technical profession, which does not necessarily have to be a university degree
• General medical technical and medical knowledge is advantageous, ideally first experience in the field of cardiology (not required)
• Good English skills, very good German skills
• Good IT skills
• Excellent communication skills, self-motivation, ability to organize oneself as well as a high degree of empathy
• Even-temperedness and the ability to work in a team as well as unrestricted, also short-term mobility
• A valid driver's license in Germany
