Location: St. Louis, Missouri
Onsite: 3 days a week
Contract: 6-12 months to perm
Interview process: video interview then MUST FACE TO FACE WITH TEAM (if they do not face to face, they are eliminated)
Must have: Linux, Rhel, application installs, Security, troubleshooting platforms, and some database experience
- 5-10+ years Linux (RHEL) admin experience
- Strong in:
- Application installs / patching (not OS builds)
- Security + vulnerability remediation
- Troubleshooting across platform + app layers
- Experience with:
- Netezza, Informatica, Automic (nice-to-have but valuable)
- Comfortable:
- Working in segregated infrastructure environments
- Writing clear technical instructions for other teams
- Bonus:
- Process improvement / optimization mindset
- Hands-on Red Hat administrator (not just support-level)
- Will:
- Manage applications on Linux (NOT install OS itself)
- Handle:
- Application installs
- Hot fixes / patching
- Security model changes
- Log space management
- Write detailed execution instructions for a separate infrastructure team
- Expected to:
- Take over from tenured employee on Red Hat services
- Operate as a go-to SME / owner of the environment
- System patching, security, troubleshooting, and compliance
- Linux (RHEL) (Primary requirement)
- ODBC connectivity
- Netezza (not required but a Plus)
- Informatica (not required but a Plus)
- Automic Applications Manager (not required but a Plus)
