House Attendant

The House Attendant plays a key support role in delivering a clean, organized, and seamless guest experience throughout the hotel. This position ensures public areas and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards while supporting the housekeeping team with daily operations. The role contributes to overall guest satisfaction by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency behind the scenes. Success in this role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

What You Will Do:

• Clean and maintain guest corridors, elevators, stairwells, and service areas to ensure a neat and presentable environment
• Vacuum, dust, and ensure all surfaces such as mirrors, furniture, and floors are clean and mark-free
• Stock linen rooms and storage areas with clean linens, supplies, and guest amenities
• Transport and distribute clean linen to guest room floors
• Remove trash and soiled linen from housekeeping areas
• Assist Room Attendants with tasks such as moving furniture, turning mattresses, and handling heavy items
• Pick up and deliver guest-requested items in a timely manner
• Support other housekeeping roles, including Guest Room Attendant, Turndown Attendant, and Lobby Attendant during high volume periods
• Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas at par and in organized condition
• Follow all safety, maintenance, and cleanliness standards
• Communicate guest requests or concerns to management promptly

What You Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred
• Minimum of 6 months of related experience is an asset
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Strong work ethic, teamwork mindset, and attention to detail
• Ability to lift, push, or carry items up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to operational needs
