Schedule 12-hour Evening Shift: 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM Job Description The Emergency Department is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment, typically dealing with critical situations. The successful candidate will have both adult and pediatric experience, with the ability to monitor and treat a range of patient diagnoses including strokes, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, and respiratory failure. Responsibilities Assess and monitor patient conditions, document findings, and report changes. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including drips and pressors. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members on patient care plans. Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans. Assist in trauma situations as needed and provide support in a fast-paced environment. Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations while maintaining a high standard of care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active New York RN license. Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department with pediatric experience preferred. Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC. Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC. Proof of travel experience is required.
