Aventura at Humility is looking for a compassionate, energetic, and creative Activity Aide to join our team. The Activity Aide will help create meaningful and engaging experiences for our residents while supporting their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive well-being.

• Assist with planning, organizing, and facilitating daily activities and programs for residents.

• Lead and participate in recreational, social, educational, cultural, and therapeutic activities.

• Encourage resident participation while respecting individual interests, abilities, and preferences.

• Assist residents with activities and provide support when needed.

• Build positive relationships with residents and encourage social interaction.

• Help organize special events, outings, celebrations, and holiday programs.

• Prepare activity areas, materials, and supplies before and after programs.

• Maintain accurate documentation of resident participation and activities.

• Communicate resident interests, preferences, and concerns to the Activities Director and care team.

• Ensure activities are conducted in a safe and appropriate environment.

• Encourage residents to remain active and engaged within the community.

• Assist with maintaining an inviting and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the community.

• Previous experience working with seniors, in activities, recreation, hospitality, or a related field preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Creative, energetic, patient, and compassionate personality.

• Ability to work effectively with residents with varying physical and cognitive abilities.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Dependable and professional.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
