Summer Job Coach Positions

Berkshire Hills Regional School District, Great Barrington Stockbridge West Stockbridge, anticipates summer positions for the 2026 summer program starting on July 6, 2026, through August 6, 2026. Some positions may start earlier on June 22, 2026, and end later on August 21, 2026, or a variation of those dates.

Position: Summer Job Coach(es)

Requirements: Associates Degree or High School Diploma with passing grade on Para Pro exam.

Qualifications: Demonstrated enthusiasm with demonstrated ability to work with students with diverse needs; excellent communication skills; demonstrated ability to work with multiple staff. Other qualifications as established by the District.

Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:30 am – 12:00 pm with potential availability to work until 3:00 pm.

Salary/Stipend: Current BHRSD Paraprofessionals: hourly rate based on FY27 hourly rate (in current negotiations). Returning Non-BHRSD Paraprofessionals: hourly rate to be 3% above previous year hourly rate. First Year Non-BHRSD Paraprofessionals: step 1 of BHEA Unit C contract (currently in negotiations).
