Software Engineer III, Mobile, Android

Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code.
• Review other engineers’ code for style, accuracy, testability, efficiency, and adherence to best practices.
• Contribute to and update documentation or educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
• Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their sources and impact on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
• Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select among available technologies.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of experience programming in Java or Kotlin.
• At least 2 years of experience developing Android applications.
• Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience with performance, systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms in an academic or industry setting.
• Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
• Preferred: experience with code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering.
