About the Role
Our client, a growing organization within the insurance and financial services industry, is seeking a Contract Support Coordinator to join its operations team. This role plays a key part in supporting insurance agents and advisors through the licensing, contracting, and onboarding process. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional service while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Working closely with internal teams, insurance carriers, and external partners, you will help ensure agents have the resources, information, and support needed to successfully navigate contracting and licensing requirements. Job Description
As a Contract Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting agent licensing and contracting activities while maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely processing. Key responsibilities include:
Process contracting requests for agents and advisors with health, life, and annuity insurance carriers.
Create, maintain, and update agent contracting profiles and records within company systems.
Manage carrier forms, contracting hierarchies, and licensing documentation.
Maintain accurate data across multiple business platforms and databases.
Coordinate with sales, commissions, and new business teams to support efficient workflows.
Develop and maintain knowledge of insurance carrier contracting and state licensing requirements.
Serve as a resource for agents and internal staff regarding licensing and contracting processes.
Provide agents with continuing education, licensing, and product training resources.
Communicate regularly with agents regarding contracting status and outstanding requirements.
Collaborate with carrier representatives to understand contracting procedures and monitor application progress.
Develop tools, resources, and process improvements to enhance the agent onboarding and contracting experience.
Assist with project coordination, follow-up activities, and process documentation.
Support data accuracy initiatives and database cleanup projects as needed.
Learn and effectively utilize business applications, including contracting, workflow, and document management platforms.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Professional demeanor with a customer-focused approach.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong time-management and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to follow detailed procedures and complete multi-step processes accurately.
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven mindset.
Experience learning and utilizing new software and business systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Experience working within the insurance, financial services, or multi-carrier agency environment.
Familiarity with agent licensing, insurance contracting, or onboarding processes.
Experience with CRM, workflow management, electronic signature, or contracting management systems.
Knowledge of health, life, and annuity insurance products and carrier requirements.
