Registered Nurse (RN) Urgent Care

Position Overview Registered Nurse (RN) – Urgent Care Sign‑On Bonus: $10,000 for day shift with a 2‑year commitment. Schedule: Full-time, holidays and weekends included. Harris Regional Hospital operates an urgent‑care unit that serves both pediatric and adult patients 7 days a week. As a RN, you will be a key member of a collaborative team of physicians, advanced practitioners, and radiology technologists, providing comprehensive and timely care. Responsibilities Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs. Initiate appropriate nursing interventions. Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient. Perform timely and appropriate documentation related to medical necessity in the medical record. Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient. Perform timely and accurate QI assessments. Qualifications Current North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license and an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. AHA ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire. One year of experience preferred. Strong critical‑thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
