Associate Price Reporter, Nonferrous Metals

About the Role S&P Global Platts is seeking an Associate Price Reporter, Nonferrous Metals to cover nonferrous metals pricing in the Americas. The role is based in Houston and involves assessing U.S. nonferrous metals markets—such as aluminum—engaging with market participants, producing pricing content, and providing analysis. Responsibilities Produce price assessments and report on Americas nonferrous metals markets. Monitor benchmark aluminum MOC using PlattsView. Write market analysis, generate graphics, and publish data to explain market trends and price movements. Manage and build a database of contacts. Identify opportunities to improve methodology or launch new assessments. Participate in conferences, webinars, and produce digital content. Qualifications Familiarity with Platts approach to pricing commodities and covering commodities markets. 3+ years of professional experience. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel). Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Excellent spoken and written English skills; Spanish spoken and written skills preferred. Analytical ability and comfort with numbers. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $53,084 to $85,000 (adjusted for location and experience). Eligible for an annual incentive plan. The role is also eligible for additional S&P Global benefits.
