RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
/n• Full-time position with every other weekend requirement
/n• No on-call responsibilities
/n• Required to float when needed
/n• Nurse to patient ratio of 5:1, occasionally 6:1
/n• Epic experience required
/n• Care for patients with MI, CHF, arrhythmias, PVD, and some med surg overflow
/n• Manage cardiac drips (does not include nitrates)
/n• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA
/n• RN license in state of employment or compact required
/n• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
/n• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
/n• Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days
/n• Complete annual competency verification requirements
/n• Provide complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process
/n• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects
/n• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
/n• Assess learning needs and provide patient/family education
/n• Temp to perm opportunity available
