Job Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive primary and preventive healthcare services in accordance with established clinical guidelines and standards of practice.
Practice under a Board-approved protocol mutually agreed upon by the Nurse Practitioner, collaborating physician, Medical Director, and MSVA.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, diagnose medical conditions, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing patient management.
Order, administer, dispense, and prescribe medications and therapeutic treatments as permitted under the approved collaborative protocol.
Accurately document patient encounters and maintain complete medical records.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Comply with all applicable federal, state, and facility policies, procedures, and regulations.
Educate patients on preventive care, health maintenance, and wellness initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.
Current, active, and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the State of Mississippi.
Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) certification.
Current national board certification (or board eligible, if applicable).
Current BLS/CPR certification (Healthcare Provider level).
Active DEA registration.
Excellent clinical assessment, diagnostic, communication, and patient care skills.
