Schedule

5x8 hour day shift (06:45 AM - 03:15 PM). Weekend requirements typically consist of every 4th weekend with weekday coverage.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our surgical team. The OR RN will be responsible for facilitating the overall care of patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring safety, and providing appropriate nursing interventions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Assist with the positioning and preparation of the patient.
• Monitor patient conditions and provide necessary care before, during, and after surgery.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure successful surgical outcomes.
• Participate in the on-call rotation for weekday shifts as required.
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in an operating room setting.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license required.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Experience with a variety of surgical procedures including but not limited to hysterectomies, amputations, and joint replacements.
