Shift & Schedule: Day Shift, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 3 Days per Week | 37.5 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend

Pay Rate:
Local: $36–$40/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Technician to monitor cardiac rhythms, identify arrhythmias, and support patient safety through continuous ECG monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous ECG and telemetry monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms.

• Identify abnormal rhythms and respond promptly to monitor alarms.

• Initiate codes and record cardiac rhythms during emergencies as required.

• Perform EKGs and ensure proper electrode placement.

• Troubleshoot monitoring equipment and resolve technical issues.

• Enter and verify orders and retrieve laboratory results.

• Communicate relevant findings to charge nurses and healthcare team members.

• Maintain accurate documentation and operate monitoring equipment safely.

Required Qualifications

• Active Telemetry Technician certification required.

• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry Technician or Monitor Technician experience.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.

• Completion of a Dysrhythmia Course.

• Proficiency in ECG monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and arrhythmia recognition.

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
