Front Office Supervisor Cancer Center (Full Time)

Works with Cancer Center Financial Supervisor to ensure service excellence in all day to day operations. Monitors all front office procedures and helps coordinate work flow. Proficient in all front office duties and able to perform all tasks at a high level, in the event a clerical staff member is absent. Fills in for Registration Clerk, Scheduler/Medical Records Coordinator in their absence and is cross-trained in these positions.

• EDUCATION: Associates Degree or Advanced clerical, office management training. Microsoft Office Suite application training.
• EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years Hospital/Clinic/Medical office experience required, Minimum 1 year Front Office management experience preferred. Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite Applications.
• LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS: Microsoft Office Certified preferred.
• EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, WORK AIDS: Microsoft Office, Standard Office Equipment, PC, Internet and Audio Visual Equipment
• SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Knowledge of medical insurance regulations, billing, coding and collections. Knowledge of medical records management. Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
