What You Need You must have experience managing cases in state and federal courts; supervising/mentoring staff; managing discovery; taking/defending depositions; drafting complaints, motions, and briefs with little supervision; and preparing for trial. This is also an opportunity for a forward-thinking lawyer to learn about the business of practicing law. What You Get Job Type: Full-time Pay: The sky really is the limit, but applicants can expect $150,000+ for meeting minimum expectations. We offer a competitive base + Bonus. Health insurance Unlimited paid time off 401(k) match Group life and disability insurance Vision Insurance Relocation Assistance Responsibilities Manage cases from intake through resolution Efficiently litigate and resolve cases Oversee paralegals, and administrative staff Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of action Get the appropriate legal documents ready for clients, such as brief, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondence Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies Qualifications Must be admitted to practice in the North Carolina or South Carolina. Both is preferred. Able to work independently while handling multiple files At least 1 year experience working in a law firm environment Prior first party property experience is a major bonus Compensation$150,000 - $250,000 yearly #J-18808-Ljbffr
