Find your future with us.Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced, Lead or Senior Level Engineers.**Position Responsibilities:****Experienced (Level 3)*** Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs* Analyzes results and performs design reviews* Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests).* Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities* Develops basic statements of work* Participates in technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection* Analyzes functional and physical input to assure development of complete integrated design* Works under general direction**Lead (Level 4)*** Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs* Analyzes results and performs design reviews* Leads the team to analyze results and performs design reviews* Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests)* Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities* Develops complex statements of work, metrics, schedules and budgets* Performs technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection* Works under minimal direction**Senior (Level 5)*** Provides guidance in the development of cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs* Provides direction used by multiple teams to analyze complex results and performs design reviews* Provides guidance in engineering design disposition on discrepancies* Defines processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities* Provides direction used by multiple teams to develop complex statements of work, metrics, schedules and budgets* Directs the technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection* Directs the development of functional and physical design requirements to ensure complete integrated design architecture* Assesses and resolves product/process issues through the product lifecycle* Leads research of technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer and designs interim and final engineering solutions* Directs cross-functional teams to analyze, conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for complex design non-conformances* Leads investigations into complex multidiscipline system related events* Uses innovative approaches and unique applications to address complex nonconforming conditions and to detect deviations* Analyzes reported problems for potential safety issues**This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.****Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):*** Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement qualifications directly related to the work statement.* 3+ years of experience in electrical wire design.* Willing to work travel domestically up to 10% of the time.**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):*** **Level 4:** 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience* **Level 5:** 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience* Experience with wire harness assembly design and manufacturing* Experience with wire diagram or electrical schematic design software* Familiarity with electrical system design principles, wire separation requirements, EME considerations, and relevant regulations for commercial and/or military agencies* 2 or more years of experience working in cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and release electrical system and wire harness engineering* Strong problem-solving skills and effective verbal and written communication* Ability to quickly adapt to program tools and procedures**Relocation:** This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. **Note:** Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.**Conflict of Interest:**Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.**Drug Free Workplace:**Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.**Pay and Benefits**:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
