Roebuck Staffing is hiring dependable  Sanitation Workers to clean industrial dumpsters located throughout the Wilmington, NC area. This position is best for someone who is hard working, reliable, and not afraid of physical outdoor work.

 

Tuesday - Sunday 

Some Mondays 

32-38 hrs a week

 

Schedules go out on Wednesdays or Thursday week before 

 

They change based on the routes that week

 

However, the person will be able to look at future routes to get idea of number of stops and have good idea of times 

Job Duties:

• Clean and sanitize industrial dumpsters at different job locations
• Use cleaning supplies, hoses, and basic sanitation equipment
• Remove debris and keep work areas safe and clean
• Follow all safety rules and company procedures
• Travel to assigned locations throughout Wilmington as needed
• Complete tasks efficiently and professionally

Requirements:

• Must have a clean background check
• Must pass a drug screening
• Must be hard working and dependable
• Must be on time every day
• Must be able to work outdoors and handle physical labor
• Must be able to follow directions and work independently
• Previous sanitation, general labor, janitorial, or industrial cleaning experience is a plus but not required

- Assist with water extraction, structural drying, and moisture readings
- Support mold remediation and fire/soot cleanup following safety and industry standards
- Perform contents packing, cleaning, and inventorying
- Document job progress using digital tools, including photos and equipment logs
- Work in tight spaces, at heights, and in full PPE when required
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment on job sites and in the warehouse

Requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor
- Comfortable working in crawlspaces and other confined areas
- Must pass a background check, have a clean driving record, and pass a respirator fit test
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
- Reliable, professional, and customer‐focused

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in restoration, janitorial, or warehouse work
- Spanish language proficiency
- Familiarity with job management or digital documentation tools
