Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized cardiac catheterization laboratory services, assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment. Ensure patient safety and compliance with clinical protocols during all procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with cardiac catheterizations, TAVR, PFO, atherectomy, PCI, R/LHC, and device implant procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced equipment including GE Innova, Impella, MacLab, and Meditech systems.
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and provide bedside care throughout procedures.
• Document procedure details accurately in hospital electronic systems.
• Adhere to hospital, department policies, and safety guidelines.
• Support float policy within the EP and Stress Lab departments as needed.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Hold current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Possess proficiency in PCI, Impella, IABP, and structural heart procedures.
• Have knowledge of cardiovascular imaging and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Maintain current state licensure and relevant credentials.
