Caregiver Position

A Place At Home is looking for compassionate, dependable, and dedicated caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care to seniors and individuals who need assistance with daily living. Our caregivers help clients remain safe, comfortable, independent, and engaged in the place they call home.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support.

Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation as assigned.

Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance when needed.

Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan and applicable guidelines.

Complete light housekeeping and laundry related to client care.

Assist with errands and other approved activities.

Encourage independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Follow the client's individualized care plan.

Observe and report changes in the client's condition or needs.

Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

Protect client privacy and confidentiality.

Communicate professionally with clients, families, and the office care team.

Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

1 Year caregiving experience, required.

Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance.

Ability to pass required background checks.

Ability to pass required drug tests.

Ability to meet applicable employment and caregiver requirements.

Ability to perform the physical duties associated with in-home caregiving.
