Values Innovation Integrity Patient Experience Teamwork Job Summary Twin Cities Pain Clinic specializes in the most advanced and effective pain management techniques to give our patients lasting pain relief and improve their quality of life. We are a full-service treatment facility to treat virtually any pain condition. Focused on providing intervention and treatment using advanced techniques to provide relief and prevention of chronic pain, the group prides itself on its state-of-the-art multidisciplinary team-based approach, ongoing research, and education. The group is seeking a full-time interventional Pain Management Physician. Responsibilities Provides primary duties related to pain management care for spine related and chronic or acute pain needs. Supports the practice in the role of outpatient follow-up care, new patient appointments, triage of patient needs, completion of patient forms, medication management, management of implantable devices, therapeutic injections, and simple assessments in clinic. Performs pain management procedures and surgeries in Ambulatory Surgery Center. Communicates and coordinates patient care consistently and effectively with providers and colleagues. Performs physician duties for a rotating surgery center. Qualifications Must have successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty. Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency ("DEA") registration. Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty, Doctorate MD or DO required. DR-Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in applicable state of Minnesota. ACLS required Skills & Abilities Detail oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a highly active environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated leadership ability. Ability to problem solve. Computer and business skills. Self-directed, reliable, consistent. Flexible and innovative thinker with the ability to adapt quickly in an ever-evolving healthcare landscape. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works two days per week in our Maple Grove clinic and three days per week in our Edina surgery center locations. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to grasp, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch; talk, hear and smell. The employee must be able to lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Compensation & Work Schedule Competitive salary with RVU based compensation model. Full-time: 1.0 FTE or 0.8 FTE Exempt Day Shift: Monday – Friday No evenings or weekend clinic hours.
