In this role, you will assist patients in enhancing or regaining their daily living skills after experiencing injury, illness, or disability. Key Responsibilities

• Support patients in improving their daily living skills.
• Provide therapy in a skilled nursing environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state Occupational Therapy license required prior to starting the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be necessary.
• Preferred experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience is advantageous.
• Experience in functional ADL training, splinting, and cognitive retraining is preferred.
