Starting at $21.37 per hour. This position is eligible for a 90-day performance increase. Rate after 90-days: $22.16 per hour. Shift Differential: Additional $1.00/hr. Shift: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM. Benefits effective day one, 2 weeks' vacation, free on-site health clinic, on-site fitness center, and 401(k) with matching.

Job Summary

Perform duties required to measure and construct crates, skids and boxes for conveyer equipment and part shipments.

Essential Functions Include the Following. Other Duties May Be Assigned:

• Work from verbal and written instructions.
• Measure conveyers and parts to calculate size requirements and construct crates, skids and boxes for shipment of equipment and parts.
• Move crates, boxes and skids of conveyer products in the shipping and receiving area.
• Use forklift equipment and floor controlled overhead crane equipment as necessary to move parts and materials; use care to lift and balance loads properly; operate equipment in a safe manner.
• Exercise proper care in the use of tools, equipment and materials. Nail gun and Staple gun usage.
• Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations and unusual conditions to supervision.
• Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.

Qualifications

Knowledge: Requires interpretation to adhere to requirements. Must have good motor skills and be able to decal.

Education/Experience: 3 to 12 months of previous qualifying experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
