Food Service WorkerWe are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Food Service Worker to join our team in Statesboro, GA. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. This position requires a positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve food according to established recipes and food safety standards.Set up serving stations and replenish food and beverage items as needed.Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.Operate a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system, if required.Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining areas, equipment, and workstations.Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using proper sanitation procedures.Store food items properly and assist with receiving and stocking deliveries.Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.Perform other duties as needed to support daily food service operations.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Previous food service, cafeteria, restaurant, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Must maintain a clean and professional appearance.
