Position Overview

A growing nonprofit healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Operating Room Manager to lead a high-volume perioperative services department. This leadership role oversees daily operations, staff development, patient safety, and operational excellence within a busy surgical program.

The Main Operating Room includes 14 operating suites featuring endovascular, open-heart, robotic, pediatric, cystoscopy, and general surgery services. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced OR leader to join a collaborative team committed to exceptional patient care and continuous growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Operating Room
• Lead, mentor, and develop perioperative staff
• Ensure regulatory compliance and patient safety standards
• Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, and resource utilization
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and hospital leadership
• Drive quality improvement and operational efficiency initiatives

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing leadership experience in a high-volume surgical setting
• Strong perioperative clinical and operational knowledge
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to quality, patient safety, and staff development
