Aerospace Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities Project Management: Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Technical Oversight: Supervise the engineering team in the design and analysis of aerospace systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain, to facilitate project success. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address technical and project-related challenges. Documentation: Ensure thorough documentation of project specifications, design changes, and compliance reports. Position Requirements 5+ years of experience in engine design, turbofan or fan module design, engine module lead, and aircraft integration or aircraft/propulsion engine certification and testing. Strong program management skills and experience with EVMS, Cost Account management, Jira/Agile tools, and requirements-based systems engineering. Ability to work independently and lead teams effectively. Experience working with aircraft OEMs and other key stakeholders. Local to the Phoenix, Arizona area, or willing to relocate within a very short timeframe. Full-time, on-site attendance required for the first 6 months. Post 6 months, up to 2 days remote and 3 days on-site. #J-18808-Ljbffr
