Medical Assistant Opportunity

Advanced Specialty Care, P.C. is seeking a medical assistant to join our allergy department, providing clinical support under the direction of licensed healthcare professionals. This role involves assisting with routine patient care and ensuring a smooth, patient-focused experience. Our board-certified allergists are experts in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, including asthma; nasal and eye allergies; sinus infections; food, drug, and skin allergies; stinging insect allergies; and environmental or seasonal sensitivities.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare patient for exam.
• Patient education.
• Allergy testing.
• Answer phones.

Skills:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently.
• Positive outlook and upbeat personality.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, meticulous.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Electronic health records experience.

Training:

• On-the-job training.

Requirements:

• Travel is required for all satellite locations (Danbury, New Milford, Ridgefield, and Norwalk).
• Must have reliable transportation.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday (36-40 hours per week). Full-time.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

Compensation:

• Salary based on experience.
• Bonus offered: $1,000 after 6 months of employment; $1,000 after one year of employment.
